    thanks for the post hyshatu,
    I agree with this too, speakers do have responsibility to carry on language similar to the way we continue on our last name. It also interesting on David Crystal made the point that language has to be written on paper for it to survive that has a lot to do with American standards that are very strict on recording things on paper
